Unsatisfied
Okey,to start things of i bought this in hopes of the old mersiniors fun but insted i got a free roaming game that is fun a first but eventily was one of the worst games i have ever wasted bucks on.after 30 minutes of riding around doing nothing it just got plain bland.dont get me started on the terriable lines, after almost every explosion you'd hear: "Chicks dig scars!".

ps2 version does not live up to the expectation
Im going to start off with this fact, you Do NOT geta nuke in the ps2 version to use antime. You only get to se it on the last mission. You do not get custom vehicals nor a moderscycle. you dont get pistols and all the weopons arwe the same as the first mercs. It is a very short game. It will take you only two days to beat it. The improve ments are, there are some better vehicals, a bigger map, and the storyline is a lot less bland. ion the end It is a fun game but if you want to get the real mecinaries 2 World in Flames experience you will want to get it for the xbox360 or the playstation 3

Great!!! Bugs.... I don't think so!!!!!
People say this Game has bugs. I disagree, I haven't crossed one bug yet! I rented it and played the demo, but no bugs, no repeating voices from AI, none of that nature. But, the AI is dumb as dirt, also the enemy AI is annoyingly accurate. But, the game is still great. Yes, it has some minor "issues" that shouldn't really effect the game.Hey, yeah, sure it has it problems, but what game doesn't? Also how many games let you destroy everything and just have fun? Not a lot, I know. You don't have to do a contract, but yet you can! You control the world! Have fun with this amazing game.

Buy At Your Own Risk
Don't listen to what anyone else says if you buy Mercenaries 2 for the PS3 YOU CANNOT PLAY IT ONLINE! I called EA's pathertic customer support line for four hours and they told me that I could not go online they have permenently disabled the servers because not enough people played it. If you own a PS3 you have to completely log off to play and even then there is severe ghosting, lag and other assorted glitches. I gave the game an overall 2 because I played the first Mercenaries and was very dissapointed in a series that I had enjoyed so much to have such a bad sequal. Once again you can't play online at all, to even play the game you need to log off PSN. Very dissapointing

Action Adventure
Mercenaries 2 is a great game with 20+ hours of game play. It's not to stressful and it's an open world action adventure. Open world games are the only game's I like to buy, especially good clean fun games. Dark twisted games are depressing. I play games to escape the worries of this world, not have my nose rubbed in them. Game makers need to lighten up. Give me more freedom in a game not mind numbing obstacle's just to make the game take longer to finish. Don't get me wrong, hero quests are great, I can play them all day long and come away satisfied. The top rated games prove my point. Mod-able games are even better. I recommend Mercenaries 2 for many of the above reasons. Keep up the good work.
